We are seeing a rise in technology enablers that go hand in hand with FMC.
4G, 5G, Voice over Wi-Fi and Dual SIM technologies all allow FMC to thrive.
Hybrid working demands privacy and compliance.
FMC delivers hybrid working options and BYOD opportunities whilst maintaining compliance and identity separation.
There is a growing expectation to work from anywhere at any time.
FMC executes on this ideal seamlessly. It allows the end user to go from a café to a car to a conference with zero disruption in comms.
Early adoption is critical to early value add, considering that ~25% of mobile subscriptions are B2B, driven by mobile extension.
Meet existing and future RFP demand by expanding your core proposition into a large and significant new mobile-first market segment.
Quick enablement through customer self-service options and no number porting or complicated airtime packages.
Significantly expand your TAM (Total Addressable Market) by adding FMC and partnering with UCaaS – providing opportunities to increase subscribers, as well as uplift ARPU by up to 50%.
Broaden your existing proposition to provide a native dialing experience for customers using UCaaS and PBXs – increasing brand visibility and equity.
Create stronger relationships and drive additional sales via integration partners, UCaaS partners and PBX partners.
Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC) is one of the newest market offerings that allows companies to connect directly to almost any mobile phone. But how does it actually work?
In its simplest terms Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC) is a bridge between fixed communications and mobile communications, two aspects that would usually never interact.
For the first time, with FMC you can connect (converge) a PBX or UC platform (the fixed aspect, it doesn’t go anywhere) to a mobile operator (the mobile aspect) directly through a SIM or eSIM.
FMC runs natively through the phone, it uses the phone’s dialler. Either insert the SIM card or scan the eSIM QR code, tap a link to log in and get calling.
FMC can truly work anywhere in the world. It goes where data doesn’t. This means that if you’re 10,000 miles from your desk or fixing the top of a wind turbine, FMC lets you take that call.
Even though FMC is fully integrated into a phone, it runs on an entirely isolated SIM. Stay fully compliant and in control.
With FMC you can dramatically reduce how much hardware you need to buy, maintain and manage.
Our FMC solution acts as a SaaS bridge to get your customers fully connected via FMC.
Existing UCaaS APIs can be used to provide a joined-up journey for the customer admin and the end users.
Standard registration method can be used to connect to the user extension on any UCaaS and PBX that, natively in the mobile device, provides the end-user with all standard telephony / PBX features.
Using public or private cloud infrastructure, our platform can be elastic and global with international data segregation.
Simply integrate with an M(v)NO initially using a SIP trunk, helping avoid complex IMS integrations that would markedly reduce time to market.
Not only are we a carrier-grade organisation with 20+ years of experience in the field, we also already power over 2.3 million mobile integrations.
With our technologies we connect around 10% of Microsoft’s global phone-enabled users to PSTN/UCaaS services. As a part of DSTNY group we are considered world-class in native integration and are highly experienced in delivering FMC solutions.
Not only is our portal simple and easy to use we also deploy via FMCaaS rather than full IMS, further reducing complexity and reducing time to market.
